Day 15 for Round 1

The beans and cukes keep on charging ahead. Only one of nine Suyo Long cucumbers has yet to show, and all six Joseon Shorty cucumbers have come forth. The first bean to breach the soil (one of the three mystery beans) has mysteriously lagged behind its nine fellows, but I still have faith in it. Interestingly this past week brought out one scout each for Cha Jogi, Roselle, Kamo, and Lady Choi, although I think I’m seeing stirrings of some followers. Two of three Sagwa Chamoe are making a go of it, leaving their cousin Gaeguri Chamoe the lone straggler. In the small Orta Seed Pot, the Korean cosmos haven’t done diddly either, so I’ve brought them inside in hopes warmer temps will give them the encouragement they need.
